Together on a Mission 2011, Zambia

2011AugTOAM 12

Together on a Mission, Zambia 2011 - or as Joseph Mwila redefined it as "On a Mission.....TOGETHER" - was another significant step forward on the journey of changing the expression of Christianity in Zambia. Prophetically Gary Welsh termed it 'the planting of a flag in Zambia' that despite hardships, claimed the advance of the Kingdom in Zambia.

The conference commenced with a general gathering on the Friday evening at Dayspring Centre, Kitwe, in "The Thatch" an extraordinary church building see our previous article entitled "Ambitious in God"

General times of worship, preaching and seminars followed in quick succession throughout Saturday and Sunday. Such was the enthusiasm that gatherings merged and timetables got forgotten about. Main sessions were led by Joseph Mwila, Gary Welsh, Steve Alliston, Casey Kalaso and Rob Coleman. While training track style seminars were led by Steve Alliston (Youth), Rob Coleman (Men) and a combination of Cas Alliston and Helen Coleman (Women) see below

There was also time for some of us to visit the location of the Chicken Farm Project about to commence through assistance from the Guernsey Overseas Aid Commission including the construction of a road where there was no road.

There certainly are no well worn paths where God is taking us in Zambia, so if you are up for the adventure, come and partner with us!
